This place is a family tradition. Every year, we purchase pan de polvo and pass them out to family and friends for Christmas. The food is great, and the prices are amazing. They freeze well so that you can purchase extra for later in the year. The owners are very pleasant and make you feel welcome. If not too busy, they have no problem coming out and talking. They have cookie tins for Christmas to make gifting easy. Call ahead for large orders.

I had lived in Edinburg for 8 years and never heard of this place till a random TikTok video. Had to try them. Picked up 6 of chocolate glaze and 6 off regular glaze. The perfect texture to donuts I've ever had. If you get there late you will be waiting but it was worth it. The staff was very friendly too. Will go back again
Lived in the Valley for 10 years, and never heard of it until my husband bragged about their donuts, biscuits and pan de polvo. He wasn't hyping them up... They ARE the best in the Valley!!!
NOW I know what all the hype is about. I'm his bakery in Edinburg, Texas has the absolute best sugar covered donuts and they are delish. Proc s are so, so affordable and thankfully they charge by the piece, not the back x. Must try !!
Picked up some sweets and they didn't disappoint. Chocolate donuts are a must try for chocolate lovers! Got some churros which we had never tried before and were good. Glazed donuts were gone before my wife and I knew it, my wife's class gobbled them up in an instant. Not only did we try the churros for the first time but strawberry filled donuts as well and El Fénix bakery did it again! The 3 lucky kids that grabbed them were asking for another which we bought the last 3 they had. I could go on and on about their pastries and how delicious they are. If you're near the courthouse, they're well worth a detour!
